About the event

This event is for Ultrarunners training for an upcoming competition. The 5-week program protocol gives detailed instructions and secrets of performance and endurance. A different theme per week.

As part of my naturopathic studies, I am required to write a thesis ‘Memoir” on a health issue to be treated naturally. I chose "The naturopathy as an alternative in ultrarunning : endurance and performance". In your first ultra, you want to understand the why of these recurrent injuries, to finally have the key to distinguish the different signs of fatigue, overtraining, nutritional deficiency, postural imbalance, weaknesses of the mind, but it is not easy to navigate through the plethora of published information. Indeed, there are many discussion groups, blogs, books, which detail the best way to practice an ultrarun. But the feedback from experience, observations, and errors, sometimes forget the essential: the human being behind the athlete! We will only retain the trends or received ideas. The reality is that our first ultratrail is our first adventure within ourselves. Those who wish to participate as guinea pigs must contact me by email, so that I assign them a secure access to deposit the protocol to be followed daily. Participants feedback are to be deposited at the same place. Here is a teaser of the topics covered : How to detoxify the body and why, how to build your immunity, ... The number of participants is limited to 10 online. If you are interested, please let me know by registering.
